Her CrossFit Story
Coach Kristina is a creative designer and digital marketer with an investment in all things CrossFit. After recovering from a thyroid procedure and losing over 40 pounds back in 2001, Coach Kristina sought for ways to get in better shape. Her doctor recommended strength and resistance training, so she joined a commercial gym and hired a personal trainer.
“I enjoyed training with my PT but he knew I needed more of a challenge and to be challenged. I soon found myself involved in numerous fitness activities such as kickboxing, Zumba, spin classes, TRX, and even Camp Gladiator. Then one day, I signed up for a nutrition challenge at a nearby fitness studio. The coach invited me to try a CrossFit class that same day. Since then, I was hooked!”
Turning her pursuit of personal wellness into a passion for inspiring others, Coach Kristina has over 8 years of experience helping men and women achieve their health, fitness and nutrition goals. When not designing websites or developing marketing strategies, you’ll find Coach K at the box swinging kettlebells, singing mid-WOD, or dancing between heavy lifts.
